What are Core Supports?
Core Supports are funded through your NDIS Core Supports budget, specifically Categories 01 (Assistance with Daily Life) and 04 (Assistance with Social and Community Participation). They cover the hands-on support that helps you live your daily life.
Core Supports funding is available to plan-managed and self-managed participants. If you manage your own plan or have a plan manager, you can choose Thrive Pathways as your provider.

Using your Core Supports budget
Core Supports funding sits under two categories in your NDIS plan: Category 01 (Assistance with Daily Life) and Category 04 (Assistance with Social and Community Participation). Many participants have one or both.
If you're plan-managed, your plan manager handles the invoicing. If you're self-managed, you pay providers directly and claim from the NDIS portal. Either way, you choose who delivers your supports.
